The following terms and conditions are applied to all services sold by Vacances Finlande Oy. You will be bound by these terms and conditions after a booking confirmation has been sent to you. Please read these terms and conditions carefully.
1.Contract
After you have sent us a booking request, we shall check the availability and send you an offer for approval. If we cannot confirm your booking per your request, we shall send you a counteroffer.
2.Payment
Once your order has been confirmed the total price is due and is payable as follows:
- more than 60 days before the start day of your activity or tour: a deposit of 30%, the balance is due 45 days before the start date
- less than 60 days before the start day of your activity or tour: the full balance is due immediately
3.Cancellations
The date of cancellation is the date, when Vacances Finlande has received the cancellation note in written.
The person, who made the booking, can cancel 20% of the participants 45 days before the start date of the activity or tour in case the minimum number of participants still is fulfilled. The tour operator has the right to reprice the activity/tour meeting the new number of participants.
If the entire group wished to make a cancellation, the following conditions are applied:
Tour, party, event or activity / more than 10 participants
- more than 60 days before the start date of the tour 25€
- 28-59 days before the start date of the tour 50%
- less than 28 days before the start date of the tour 100%
Tour, party or event / under 10 participants
- more than 45 days before the start date of the tour 25€
- 28-45 days before the start date of the tour 50%
- less than 28 days before the start date of the tour 100%
Activity / under 10 participants
- more than 28 days before the start date of the activity 25€
- 7-28 days before the start date of the activity 50%
- less than 7 days before the start date of the activity 100%
The person, who made the booking, is responsible for cancelling the tour/activity in time.
4.List of participants
The final list of participants divided in rooms, if accommodation is included, is to be delivered to Vacances Finlande 4 weeks in prior to the trip to the e-mail address: pascal.marie@vacancesfinlande.com. The same goes to any special wishes and special arrangement details (e.g. arrival and departure times).
5.Price
Only those services mentioned in the booking confirmation are included in the price. Administration cost is 16€/order. There is no administration fee for orders of single activities under 500€.
6.Corporate customers
Valued added tax is included in the prices and is collected according to the instructions given by the Finnish taxation officials. For the corporate customers who have informed us their corporate identification number (VAT number) when making a booking request, we can deliver an offer and a confirmation with VAT specifications.
7.Travel documents
The travel documents necessary will be delivered to the person who ordered the activity/tour 7-14 days before the start date of the activity/tour by e-mail or directly to the mobile phone.
8.Tour operator right to cancel the activity/tour
The activity/tour operator has the right to cancel the activity/tour 60days in prior to the start date of the activity/tour if the number of the participants does not meet the minimum requirement or in case of force majeure (typically weather conditions). In this case the customers get a full refund of their payments unless a new date has been agreed.
9.Travel insurance
Each customer makes sure that they do have a valid travel insurance covering travelling in Finland and the activities included in their tour.
10.Changes
Vacances Finlande is not responsible for changes made by the activity/tour organiser. Activity/tour organiser reserves the right to change the activity/tour program.
11.Passport, visa and vaccination
The participants are themselves responsible for obtaining passport, visa and the vaccinations necessary for travelling in Finland.
12.Complaints
Any complaints must be communicated immediately after the reason for the complaint occurred to: pascal.marie@vacancesfinlande.com by calling the number +358 40 758 5329.
All the claims must be delivered in-written to the e-mail address above within 1 month after the activity/trip ended. Vacances Finlande will respond within 1 month after receiving the claim. In case the parties do not end up in mutual understanding the person who made the booking can make a complaint to the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority.
13.Compensation of damages
The person who ordered the activity/tour is responsible for compensating any damages caused by the group.
Concerning damages occurring during air-, seaborne- or railway transportation, the compensation for damage shall be determined per the regulations or contracts which the transport company acting as subcontractor applies in his own business actions.
Otherwise the General tour terms and conditions are applied.
