Description

This is an original and historical piece from the 12th cancelled Summer Olympic Games supposed to be held in Helsinki Finland.

The 1940 Olympic Games were originally scheduled to be held in Tokyo, Japan, but several countries planned to boycott the Games and then Japan itself decided not to have the Games as it would be a distraction to their military goals.

The Games were then rescheduled to be held in Helsinki, Finland, but the start of World War II in 1939 caused them to be cancelled.
