Lots of Finns love Ice Fishing on a frozen lake, river or sea. After the very cold winter, end of February until the beginning of April, is the best moment to practice this activity (Usually the sun is warm when shinning and the landscape is the most beautiful at that time of the year)
We will meet at the agreed location in Porvoo. We will also make sure that you have enough warm clothes for this outdoor experience. We will tell you how to proceed and soon you will drill your first hole in the ice and start fishing. No special permission is needed for ice fishing in Finland, therefore it is so popular. Hopefully you will catch a fish and take nice photos.
After this great fishing experience, we will walk in the old city of Porvoo and you will learn more about Porvoo’s history and the Finnish culture. Our walk will lead us to a fish restaurant (except Sundays) where you will test all the delicatessen our local fisherman caught in our region
The fishing activity will 
take about 2 hours (morning preferably)
The tour in Porvoo and walk to the restaurant takes approximately 1 hour
And finally, the lunch about 1 hour
